Building bridges

Stop checking your phone. Stop looking to see if the snapchat he just sent you is also his story. Stop feeling special if it isn’t.

Stop thinking he likes you. He doesn’t, especially if the only time he hangs out with you is to go grocery shopping. Yeah, he’s cute, and funny, and super smart, but sometimes it just isn’t there. No matter how pretty/great/awesome you are, sometimes he won’t like you back. He won’t think your quirky humor is cute, and he won’t appreciate how your nose scrunches up ever so slightly when you laugh.

It might take ten hours, it might take ten days, but soon, everything will be okay. Soon, you’ll move on. You’ll build a bridge and get over it. Whatever “it” is. You’ll find someone better. There’s always someone better.
